Turkish exports to Libya increased by 58% in the first seven months of 2021 (325 billion dollars) compared to the same period in 2020, while a statement by the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations reported work by the Turkish-Libyan Business Council headed by Murtaza Karanfil.<\/p>\n

Karanfil said the visit by Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah to Istanbul last week was very vital for boosting cooperation in trade and the future of political and economic cooperation.<\/p>\n
Karanfil said the political understanding between Turkey and Russia positively impacts economic relations and that Turkish firms need to resume the suspended projects in Libya for better development.<\/p>\n
