This morning, Wednesday, September 22nd, the President of the Libyan Businessmen Council met with His Excellency the Maltese Ambassador, in a meeting at Bab Al Bahr Hotel, which included the Maltese Consul, the Executive Director of the Council, and the Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Council. Eastern and head of the Council branch in the south.
The President of the Council welcomed His Excellency Ambassador Charles Salbia and Consul Sandro Margo
He praised the depth of relations between the two neighboring countries and the importance of economic cooperation between them and the role of the private sector to revive this cooperation and stressed the need to work together to encourage investment and facilitate the movement of businessmen to and from Malta.
The head of the council’s branch in the eastern region also welcomed the guest and touched on the projects that the council branch is working on, and invited the ambassador to visit Benghazi, proposing to him to open a consulate there.
The head of the council’s branch in the south region also spoke about the promising investment opportunities in the south, whether in the fields of industry or agriculture, and the importance of the Maltese party’s participation in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
