{"id":5986,"date":"2022-01-25T12:29:49","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T10:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbc.com.ly\/en\/?p=5986"},"modified":"2022-01-25T12:29:52","modified_gmt":"2022-01-25T10:29:52","slug":"ppp-panel-discussion-makes-recommendations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbc.com.ly\/en\/ppp-panel-discussion-makes-recommendations\/","title":{"rendered":"PPP panel discussion makes recommendations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A panel discussion on Public Private Partnership (PPP) held at the Four Points Andalous hotel yesterday under the auspices of the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and in cooperation with the Libyan Business Council (LBC) made several recommendations, the LBC reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was attended by several academic experts, business owners, representatives of governmental and private institutions, in addition to economic and financial figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion stressed that PPP is one of the pillars upon which to draw and implement sustainable development plans because it stimulates economic growth and solves the problem of finding financing to implement the necessary projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attendees discussed the best ways to achieve a real and effective partnership, the difficulties that stand before it, and the solutions required to start implementing projects of a strategic nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting concluded several recommendations on the subject, the most prominent of which were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Defining the features of the desired development goals from the process of partnership between the public and private sectors, not only on the economic level or developing and improving the performance of public services, but in terms of its impact on development and the relationship of partnership with urban modernization appropriate to the needs of the population.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Building the general foundations that, in turn, determine the role of partners in development in order to achieve efficiency, integration and good coordination between the two sectors.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The application of the market economy, the modernization of the economic system, and a prelude to attracting foreign direct and indirect investments and harnessing them in the field of service projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Creation of an independent body with direct support from the state that works on regulating partnership relations and projects for participation between the public and private sectors.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A panel discussion on Public Private Partnership (PPP) held at the Four Points Andalous hotel yesterday under the auspices of the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and in cooperation with the Libyan Business Council (LBC) made several recommendations, the LBC reports.
