Libya\u2019s Airports Authority announced Thursday that several development projects at Tripoli\u2019s Mitiga airport had started recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitiga airport, Tripoli\u2019s secondary and smaller airport located to the east of the capital, is the city\u2019s only functioning airport after militia fighting in 2014 destroyed Tripoli International Airport located to the south of the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
