A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Libyan Parliament Diwan on Thursday, May 7, between the Libyan Businessmen Council and members of Parliament from the Economy, Investment, and Energy Committees, in the presence of members of the Economic Committee of the High Council of State, the founding team of the Libya Industrial Development Fund, and the Libyan Cooperative Company for the Management of Industrial Zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting discussed the draft law for the establishment of the Fund, which is considered an initiative proposed by the Libyan Businessmen Council to support industrial projects. During the meeting, the Fund\u2019s objectives, strategy, and its expected role in supporting industrial and regional development and strengthening the national economy were reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants also addressed the importance of the Fund in supporting the industrial sector through the creation of financing sources, its contribution to achieving sustainable development, keeping pace with the requirements of the current stage, and enhancing opportunities for economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the conclusion of the meeting, the draft law and related documents were submitted in preparation for presentation to the Economy and Investment Committee of the House of Representatives to complete the necessary procedures for its approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
