Law No. (12) of 1986 AD amending some provisions of the State Financial System Law

General People’s Congress

In the implementation of the decisions of the Basic People’s Congresses in their first regular session of the year 1395 F.R corresponding to 1986 AD and after perusal of the State Financial System Law and its amendments.

The formulas of the law are as follows:

first article

The text of Article (9) of Law No. (61) of 1972 AD amending the aforementioned State Financial System Law shall be replaced by the following text:

Article (9)

The General People’s Committee for the Treasury and the Municipal Treasury People’s Committees – as the case may be – issue financial authorizations immediately after the budget law is issued to meet the expenditures approved in the budget, and the delegation may be part of the annual appropriations as decided by the General People’s Committee for the Treasury.

A copy of each authorization shall be sent to the President of the Audit Bureau, the General Department of Budget, the General Department of the Treasury, and the General Department of Accounts.

This law shall be effective from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
