About the Platform

Business Platform is a digital project, established through the Libyan Businessmen Council and with a grant provided with the US Agency for International Development ( USAID ) , as part of the Public Fund Management Program, which is administered by the Agency inside Libya, aiming to improve the business environment in Libya. The platform of the business people is considered to be one of the facilities through which the Council seeks to improve the work environment, provide an attractive environment for business, support the private sector and strengthen the partnership between it and the public sector, as the platform aims to provide distinguished services to the business sector in Libya and to those interested in investing in it along with linking them with public sector institutions so that this platform is one of the pillars of cooperation between the two parties

Council Membership Benefits

  • The Council aims to bring together business owners to put in place a comprehensive vision
    and an effective mechanism to contribute to creating a business and investment
    the environment that encourages economic and qualifying the private sector so that it can play
    its expected role in developing the national economy.
  • Presenting proposals regarding developing the economic legislations, and submitting
    appropriate recommendations to the competent authorities in the country with the aim of
    raising the competitiveness of the national economy.
  • Working on developing the internal investments, attracting foreign investment, and
    searching for suitable investment opportunities for the private sector to serve the national
    economy, by offering national economic projects with foreign companies that wish to carry
    out these projects in accordance with the legislation in force.
  • Following-up cooperation activities with the corresponding Arab and international councils,
    federations and organizations, and strengthening economic ties with them to provide the
    best services to Libyan businessmen.
  • Holding economic seminars and conferences and issuing publications, leaflets, studies and
    researches that are concerned with developing the economic sectors in Libya.
  • Working to raise the qualifications of Libyan business owners and others by setting up and
    managing specialized educational institutions on education and training, providing expertise
    and technical advice in economic and commercial matters, monitoring difficulties and
    proposing solutions in coordination with the relevant authorities.
  • Participation in official delegations of an economic nature at home and abroad.

How Do We Work

The platform relies on a trained team that follows up and supervises it on a daily basis in order to help visitors and users and meet any requests received from them, work to provide information, ensure that the platform operates in a flexible and smooth manner, and follow up on correspondence and communications received through the platform through a series of quick procedures through which the user ensures that obtaining the required assistance without delay, and at the second stage, the platform would seek to automate their services in general, providing more flexibility in the work.

The platform provides a lot of information free of charge and includes access to the guide, legislation, events and tenders. if you want to get more information, such as contacting, directly, the  companies registered on the platform, advertising, marketing, better investment opportunities, publishing services on the platform, etc., this requires registration and subscription to the platform
