Agricultural, fisheries and poultry exhibition to be held in Tripoli from 28 to 31 March
The Eighth Libya International Forum and Exhibition for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries will be held alongside the 23rd edition of Agrena International Fair for Livestock, Poultry and Fisheries at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds from 28 to 31 March.
Organizers have billed the event as the largest event in the agricultural, livestock and fisheries sector under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Privatisation and Investment Board and the General Exhibitions Authority.
Organizers say companies and entities from Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey and Italy will be participating in the event.
The event which will include workshops and presentations will cover the following five main topic areas:
Agricultural and horticulture
Nurseries, greenhouses, seeds and grains, agricultural pesticides and control against plant pests and diseases, fertilizers, fodder and soil strengthening materials
Livestock and poultry
Animal breeding and crossbreeding, pastoral materials and natural pastures, red meat products and their derivatives, waste management in order to produce fertilizer from them, poultry industry system, and its technical specifications.
Fishing and fisheries
Equipment and tools used in fishing, fishing boats and modern techniques for sea fishing, techniques for the protection and control of fisheries and fish farms
Food
Production of grains and legumes, food industries and their supplements, dairy products, beekeeping techniques, honey production, drinks and juices of all kinds
Packaging
Packaging and packaging products, raw materials for the market, modern technologies, instant production lines
