At a ceremony held at a Tripoli events hall yesterday, the privately owned Ghadames Air announced that it was resuming flights after a hiatus lasting several years.
The company announced that it had sold its old crafts and purchased two new, but second-hand, Boeing planes.
It plans a phased restart of flights beginning with flights to Istanbul in March, to be followed by flights to Tunis and then Cairo and Benghazi.
