Strategic Meeting to Address Visa Challenges and Open Investment Horizons.
As part of its ongoing efforts to open new horizons for international cooperation, the LBC held a strategic meeting with the Italian Commercial Attaché, Mr. Fabio Giudizi, to enhance economic relations and resolve challenges facing Libyan businessmen, particularly the visa issue.
Mr. Saeed Wannis, a board member of the LBC, held a productive meeting with Mr. Giudizi. The meeting served as a crucial platform to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and overcome obstacles hindering trade and investment growth.
Mr. Wannis emphasized the Council’s commitment to developing Libyan-Italian economic relations, stressing the necessity of facilitating administrative and logistical procedures, especially regarding obtaining travel visas to Italy. He explained that this step is essential to enable businessmen to participate in economic events, finalize deals, and boost trade exchange.
For his part, Mr. Giudizi showed great understanding of the Council’s demands and pledged to work on facilitating visa issuance procedures for Council members, which serves mutual economic interests. The two parties also discussed cooperation prospects in developing industrial zones and the possibility of benefiting from Italian expertise in this field.
This meeting is a significant step towards building bridges of trust and cooperation between the private sector in Libya and Italy. Through these initiatives, the LBC confirms its pivotal role in creating a more stable and open economic environment, which contributes to driving comprehensive development.
