LBC launches its digital business platform: Almenasa
The Libyan Businessmen Council (LBC) launched Sunday its digital business platform, Almenasa, established in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development USAID, at an official event held at the Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Tripoli.
The launch was held in the presence of the President of the LBC, the President of the LBC’s branch in the south, the Director-General of the Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC), the Director of the Financial Facilities Fund, Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, the President of the International Network for Entrepreneurship, and several directors of public and private institutions, businessmen, members of the LBC and economic figures.
During the launch ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Council and the LEPC, aimed at promoting the concept of partnership between the public and private sectors.
Almenasa is a business platform that aims to provide the LBC’s services electronically to its members, in addition to providing a digital information portal in both Arabic and English.
It will provide assistance and support to investors at home and abroad, working on sponsoring entrepreneurs, cooperating with public sector institutions in the areas of information exchange, and training and support programs.
In addition, it will provide networking between these institutions and the private sector in order to address any problems facing the private sector and work to overcome them and work to reduce procedures and bureaucracy, and encourage the adoption of digitization in all the corridors of public and private institutions.
The platform is also seeking to legalize the digital signature to help expedite the completion of the procedures for various paper transactions.
