Turkish exports to Libya increased by 58% in the first seven months of 2021
Turkish exports to Libya increased by 58% in the first seven months of 2021 (325 billion dollars) compared to the same period in 2020, while a statement by the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations reported work by the Turkish-Libyan Business Council headed by Murtaza Karanfil.

Karanfil said the visit by Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah to Istanbul last week was very vital for boosting cooperation in trade and the future of political and economic cooperation.
Karanfil said the political understanding between Turkey and Russia positively impacts economic relations and that Turkish firms need to resume the suspended projects in Libya for better development.

On Saturday, Dbeibah and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Istanbul and discussed the latest developments.
