On the evening of Wednesday, February 25, the Tripoli International Fair hosted the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Libyan Businessmen Council and the General Authority for Exhibitions.
The protocol was signed on behalf of the Libyan Businessmen Council by the Council’s Executive Director, while the Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions signed on behalf of the Authority. The protocol aims to enhance joint coordination in organizing and supporting exhibitions and economic events overseen by the Council in the coming period, contributing to the revitalization of trade and investment activity within Libya.
This protocol is considered the most comprehensive of its kind in terms of the support and sponsorship provided by the General Authority for Exhibitions for all activities and events organized by the Council and its affiliated entities. It represents an important step toward developing the exhibition sector and strengthening the role of the private sector in national economic development.
In the same context, the Libyan–Egyptian Business Council signed a supplementary agreement to the protocol aimed at sponsoring joint exhibitions to be organized by the Council during the current year, thereby supporting economic and trade cooperation between the business communities of Libya and Egypt.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Libyan Businessmen Council, members of the Board of Directors, the Chairman and members of the Libyan–Egyptian Business Council, the Council’s legal advisor, as well as a number of officials from the Tripoli International Fair and the General Authority for Exhibitions.
