The Libyan Businessmen Council organized an Eid al-Fitr reception today, Thursday, March 26, at its headquarters in the Dat Al-Imad complex.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Council, the Chairman of the General Assembly, and members of the Board of Directors. This celebration served as a platform for direct communication among business owners. The Chairman of the Council welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the essential role of such meetings in strengthening networking ties among business owners and striving to form effective advocacy groups aimed at empowering the private sector and creating a conducive business environment. He also reviewed the key obstacles facing local investment and discussed mechanisms to overcome them.

The event included an inspection tour of the proposed new expansion facilities for the Council, which included the Masari Capacity-Building Center, the Commercial Arbitration Center, and the headquarters designated for the joint councils affiliated with the Council, all of which aim to enhance the service infrastructure for sector members.

In a related context, the executive management presented a brief overview of the Council’s recent achievements, including a technical explanation of the newly introduced digital system for managing branches and memberships. They also announced the upcoming launch of the “Smart Aamal” application in April, which aims to provide various services to Council members, enhance communication among them and their peers, and manage their various business activities digitally.
