|

Minister of Housing and Construction of the Government of National Unity, Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi met, Tuesday, the Egyptian companies consortium implementing Tripoli‘s Third Ring Road Project.

The two sides discussed the possibility of starting a phased implementation of the project, according to the available financial funds, and that the preparations should also be in stages, based on the requirements of each stage; to reduce operational costs.

The meeting, however, discussed taking into account the time period spelled out in the contract and the phased implementation.

For its part, the Egyptian consortium demanded that these points be studied, and a detailed response can be provided this week, and in event of agreement of the two parties, an appendix to the original contract would be prepared and annexed to preserve the terms and contractual obligations of both parties.
